Meet the Author! – Mirjana Halich
Mirjana has been writing since she was nine. She wrote Borneo and Kinabalu when she visited the Sepilok Orangutan Sanctuary and climbed Mount Kinabalu in Eastern Malaysia. Mirjana is an advocate on the preservation of the rainforest and protecting wild primates from extinction. When she is not writing, she can be found reading, watching TED talks, creating new recipes or spending time with family. Mirjana lives with her husband and beautiful daughter in Toronto, Canada. This is Mirjana's first book.
