“I absolutely loved this book. The story took place over a 25-30 year time span. Donya's and Emmitt's story had my emotions all over the place. Their chemistry was heartfelt. They have a love so intimate, rare and true. This story centered on Donya, as told from her POV, but the reader got an in depth background on Emmy, her family dynamics, and greater insight into their strong friendship. Davis's talent as a writer is extraordinary.”
