Ask Life Changing Questions
No Easy Answers
A TRUE honest tale of how someone who has had so much thrown at him rise from the ashes of despair and made a better life for himself. I listen to his podcast too (search under the book title on I-Tunes) and they are great short little "pick me ups" to listen to. Great reading for anyone who feels like they are having trouble and needs a little guidance. ~ Review by Clyde Saultenfuss
Book Description:
How do I turn my life around? What exactly do I need to do to be happy and content in life?
If you’re searching for answers to any of these questions—or dozens of others like them—keep going. You won’t find them in this book. In fact, you won’t find them in any book, because there are no easy answers. You have to work to find them—and the answers are different for everyone.
No Easy Answers is Barry Mangione’s highly personal, profoundly inspirational account of how he transformed his life and went from being depressed, divorced, bankrupt, alcoholic, and on the verge of suicide to being a happy and successful husband, father, artist, and advocate.
He offers his story as a source of hope and guidance, not as a step-by-step process or a secret to happiness. His story is framed around the questions that helped him transform himself and his life. By asking yourself these questions, you can begin to gain the self-awareness you need to achieve self-improvement.

The Bridge: 14 Days to a Limitless Life
We are all born the same so how do we end up so differently? Sure, there may be some environmental variables, but poor people become wealthy and rich people become poor all the time. Most of the time, life impacts us by default and our circumstances change, but underneath we all start out the same and have the same capabilities and potential. If it isn’t environmental then it must be something inside of us that drives us in a particular direction.
It would be pretty dull if we were all the same, but that isn’t really the issue. The focal point of our conversation is why are we different and what makes the grass always seem a little greener on the other side of the fence. The Bridge: 14 Days to a Limitless Life is a journey and an exploration to help us understand why all of those tries to change ourselves into something else don’t work, but more importantly, it gives us the tools to make substantial and lasting change in our lives.
We learn that the grass isn’t really greener on the other side of the fence. By living our lives in default mode, we have actually allowed the grass to get browner on our side of the fence. Further, we learn about out thought process and why we have ‘chemistry’ with some people while we don’t with others. What would happen if you learned how to create more chemistry between yourself and other people you meet. This book explores the ever so important first impression and how you can influence the outcome.
Want to learn to reprogram yourself to deal with Anxiety, Love, Sex, Relationships, Diet, Health, Confidence, Self-Esteem, Money, Motivation, Success and any other area of your life that you want to change or improve? The Bridge shows you how. How to build self-confidence, self-esteem and how to effect lasting change in your life by being more yourself than anyone else.
The Bridge: 14 Days to a Limitless Life is a self-help user manual for self-help and self-improvement complete with exercises you can use to master your integrity and a program to sustain your goals as you reach them. Once you read the book, you are at the beginning and not the end. Fourteen paintings to prove it
I love the way The Big Wide Calm begins. (Kindle Locations 38-43).
My name is Paige Plant, and I’m a singer-songwriter. I have fourteen paintings to prove it— one for each song I’ve written . Thirteen Möbius strip watercolors where I painted the song’s story on the strip. What can I say? I was good at science back in the day. The fourteenth, done in oil and not on a Möbius strip, depicts the only love song I’ve ever written. Not that I’ve had only one lover or anything— I’m quite attractive in a B + kind of way— but only one worth an oil painting. Plus, oil makes the other guys, and an occasional girl, work a little harder at pleasing me. Everybody wants a love song written about them ; almost everyone wants to see their song in oil. There is a wide consensus in the many reviews! Vivid and captivating characters with a book cover that pulled them in. What is this book about?
A former semi-famous rock star offers to record her album for free..He has a mysterious history and she is naïve. Together they learn about authenticity.
From the book description:
“Paige is a rock star. The world just doesn’t know it yet. With a name like Paige Plant, how could she be anything but the future frontwoman of the next Led Zeppelin? She’s got the charisma, the drive, and, of course, the mega-musical skills. All she needs is to make her debut album, one that will change the world, inspire revolutions—and make her galactically famous along the way.”
WOW! ~ Review by Lara Chulack
I love this second novel by new author Rich Marcello. A page turner, I finished it in 3 days! Mr. Marcello really nails the voice of the lead character Paige Plant with grit, humor, and nuance. Using the vernacular of a young, inspiring and inspired budding rock star of the twenty something generation Paige takes us on a heartfelt journey. She breaks a few hearts, mends a few hearts and stays true to her own heart. This novel gives the reader hope, and who doesn't need more of that? I HOPE there is a sequel!
Meet the Author – Rich Marcello
Rich Marcello “…is a contemporary fiction author, poet and songwriter, whose literary inspiration often stems from songs he's written. Rich grew up in New Jersey surrounded by song and word.”
Mr. Marcello is a musician with a love for high technology. His career path became one in which he was a technology executive, managing several multi-billion dollar businesses for Fortune 500 companies.
We are lucky as readers that he is now pouring his love of music into novels for many to enjoy.

Do I really want to be a “cube monkey” for the rest of my life?
Right now I am reading Reboot Your Career: 27 Ways to Reinvent Yourself in the Workplace…(If You Still Have a Job!) Peter Fogel really gets to the heart of the matter and uses humour to get his message across. What he has to say makes a lot of sense and I am really enjoying this read.
Excerpt ~ Chapter 2 (pgs. 45 – 47)
Now that we’ve gotten all that uncomfortable, yet liberating, stuff out of the way, our next step is to figure out exactly what you actually want.Let’s get back to the most important subject there is – YOU! And to do that we need to assess you and your present career.
Life and business continually throw us curves. Just like any new relationship, we sometimes go into a job thinking it’s exactly what we “thought” we wanted.
Fast forward a few years into it, and we start to feel like something is wrong. Something is missing.
You might ask yourself,
Our spouses think we’re having a midlife crisis. Our bosses think we’re slacking off. We think we’re going a little nuts as we pop another Xanax to calm our frayed nerves.
Guess what? I’m here to tell you it isn’t as bad as all that. Look, if you’re starting to feel like your career is going to hell in a hand basket, here are a few things you can do.
Here’s the deal!

Life in Half a Second
Absolute MUST read! Go no further EVERYTHING you need to know about achieving lasting success is in this book!~ Review by Dr. David Duggan "Absolute MUST read! It's in my "All Time Favourites" books to read. At last a book based on real facts, evidence and research on achieving success. Matt has saved me so much time and effort by revealing the simple and easy 5 steps to achieving lasting success. Looking back I now know that whenever I had achieved success in the past, I had followed the 5 steps... but didn't realise I'd done so. Its now clear and easy to follow these steps and to achieve lasting success. I loved it so much I bought 50 copies to give to family and friends. A super high recommendation. Just buy it."
Today, I posted this video for people to see and share. I also said, "I love this! Going to be blogging about my experience with this book later today. He wrote something on page 8 that really lifted me up. I could feel myself being pulled up and forward. Sounds strange but I don't know how else to describe what happened." Thank you Matthew Michalewicz ! Okay, I won't make you wait any longer. Excerpt from page 8 in the paperback. (Kindle Locations 143-149) ~
Do you have a bucket list? No? Then make one and do it now, while you still can, while there’s still life and strength in your veins. If you only had one year to live, you’d do it now. Nothing would stop you. No amount of commitments, obligations, or responsibilities. But because you measure time in “years lived” rather than “days left,” the future seems unlimited, so you defer and wait. You do everything you “have to” and very little of what you “want to.” But what are you waiting for? When you’re old and frail? When your desire has evaporated? When your loved ones are gone?
"The smallest of human beings can achieve the greatest of deeds – Life in Half a Second provides interesting ideas on how it’s done."- Lech Walesa, former President of Poland and Nobel Peace Prize winner
