Secrets The Secret Never Told You

Secrets the Secret Never Told You by Linda West #selfempowerment #magnetic

Best Selling Book on How to use the Law of Attraction

Awesome book and super easy read!! They say our "higher selves" place things in our paths so that we find them when the timing is just right. That is the case for me and this book! Thanks for writing this book Linda!!

The key to having everything you ever wanted is tied directly to #frequencies Secrets The Secret Never Told You

From the Press Release: Change Your Life With A New Science

Los Angeles – The city of angels is ahead of the game once again with a new SECRET way to attain your dreams – this time using quantum physics. Love, health, money, fame – this author says you can have it all if you just understand the new science of frequency attunement. According to YoutTube empowerment guru, Linda West, the key to having everything you ever wanted is tied directly to our understanding of this little known science of frequencies.

After a near death experience, Linda West, connected a frequency code and was sent on scholarship to do research with scientists around the world into the rainforest and Mayan ruins. Out of this inspiring event came new startling information that proved to be life changing. Sprinkled with amazing client and personal success stories this book brings back hope to everyone that's ever given up on their dreams. Empowering, informative and inspiring! After understanding this science you will see things start to appear in your life that you've always wanted – you will magnetize experiences to you in just the same way a magnet works.

The Law of Attraction was introduced and made popular by the now famous movie and book, “The Secret” but very few people understood how to actually apply it to help their lives. According to Tesla,“If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration.”

This revolutionary new way of thinking and working with science will change your life as if by magic. Linda's book, “Secrets, The Secret Never Told You” is available on amazon. She also has free videos on all of her “Secrets” on YouTube as Morningmayan.

Afraid to talk about mental health

Available now on Amazon.com for $9.99 with 50 % of the proceeds going to charity.
Skills we all need! ~ Review by Molly Arnold - This is a much needed book! So many people are afraid to talk about mental health in fear of humiliation or discrimination. I struggle with an anxiety disorder myself & it's horrible, but what is worse is how people react when I'm having a panic attack. People don't know what to do. Teachers and doctors have looked at me in shock and some even told me to 'man up.' People, especially those who work closely with the public, need to know these de-escalation skills!
This book is very easy to read. It holds so much information in a factual but empathetic way. If you work closely with people, I recommend this book! The Blythe Bridge story is a great, creative way to show people the best way to help someone in a medical crisis. It reminds people that although mental health problems are invisible, they are still as important and serious as any other problem!!
Great helpful book. I hope that more & more people will stand up to fight the stigma around mental health and books like this are a great way to start!
Book Description:

CRISIS INTERVENTION 101 In America, one in four people live with a diagnosable mental illness. Sadly, one in six of those people will have some contact with the police during their lifetime. Tragically, jails and prisons house ten times more people living with a mental illness as there are in hospitals. We want to change that.

Mental illness is a brain disorder or chemical imbalance. It cares nothing for race, religion, age or gender.

It doesn’t matter if we’re rich or poor, a brilliant mathematician or in special ed. It’s simply another form of illness or injury that affects human beings. And, a mental health crisis is a medical crisis. A person needs help.

Crisis Intervention 101 gives a simple overview of mental health and the calls first responders most often are called to; reasons why a crisis can happen, and offers basic understanding about how to verbally de-escalate a crisis. These skills are taught in a common sense approach, and are appropriate for law enforcement, emergency responders, school personnel and advocates. They can also be learned by anyone. They should be learned by everyone.

Used across the nation, these de-escalation steps are a change to the traditional authoritarian model. Rather than giving orders, we learn how to “actively listen.” The book uses pictures and short descriptions to show how to build a truthful and honest rapport with another person and how to offer options; allowing a person time to choose the best option under the circumstances.

We all want to be understood. These are human communication skills and can be mastered by us all. Imagine the difference if we did. Imagine a world if we do. This basic book includes links to two accompanying videos. These short videos show an overview of a mental health crisis and examples of the verbal de-escalation steps in action.

The book and videos are used in a crisis intervention advanced training designed specifically for rural law enforcement. The class is approved by Minnesota Police Officers Standards and Training (POST) for continuing education credits for law enforcement. It can be adapted for anyone who works with people in crisis.

50% of the proceeds from this book are donated to advocacy organizations: 25% to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) St. Croix Valley 25% to HOPE Coalition to end child abuse, sexual assault, domestic violence and homelessness.

Find Your Life's Work by Listening to Your Mind & Soul~ Excerpt of Review by Kara Lane

The guide offers practical tips for figuring out WHAT we want to do and then HOW to go about doing it. The "what" includes exercises and questions to help us uncover our passions. The "how" helps us discover how to succeed - for example, by doing our homework to figure out what knowledge and skills we need for our chosen career.

My favorite chapter was the one called "You Are What You Think." The philosophy expressed there reminded me of one of my all-time favorite books, James Allen's "As a Man Thinketh". Millen talks about limiting beliefs, gratitude, and counting our achievements. As a perfectionist, I especially liked the way she challenges her fear of action. She asks herself, "Why not try?" or "It doesn't have to be perfect - you can correct and improve. It's time to act."

Excerpt - A Shift toward Purpose: Secrets to an Amazing Career

If you are unhappy with your work right now, whether you are in your twenties or your fifties, stop blaming yourself for making the wrong choices that led you here. You made the best choices you had at the time considering the awareness, knowledge and understanding you had before.

You cannot change your past but you can change the direction of your life now if you choose to trust your ‘gut.’ You are well equipped with your mind and your soul – your intuition, your talents, and your aspirations – to have a meaningful, successful and authentic life.

The mind’s perspective is practical, rational and grounded, which is very important as long as it doesn’t limit or paralyze you with fear and indecision. The soul’s perspective is expansive, exciting and positive. However, choosing only the soul’s perspective may leave you ungrounded and disillusioned at best.

In my opinion, the solution to a happy and successful life is balance. Try not to spend too much time focusing only on your rational mind but also do not get carried away just by your soul’s desires. Strive for balance. Neale Donald Walsch wrote in one of his inspirational emails that “The mind and the soul must work together if you are to experience true bliss.”

If you want to have a meaningful and gratifying career, if you want to find your heartfelt purpose in life and experience peace, you must be aware of the duality of your existence (physical and spiritual) and nourish and strengthen both – your mind and your soul.

It is my intention in this book to inspire your beautiful and genuine self to trust yourself and your intuition, to recover your self-confidence and self-reliance. I want you to love yourself enough to work through your fear of change and the unknown, to clear and release your emotional blockages and activate your creative potential.

I would be delighted if the messages in this book resonate with you. I would love to be able to assist you in making a shift toward a life blessed with meaning, faith, purpose and contentment. It is my joy and honor to offer guidance to women seeking authentic self-expression and ways to be their best and serve the world best. I admire you and am proud of you for having the courage to choose yourself and follow your gut.

How to Live in the Present Moment

Matt Morris Pinterest with border

Live in the NOW! Excerpt of Review by Symbol L.

I have been following Matt for a while now and I had been really looking forward to this particular book and I can honestly say that I am BLOWN AWAY! This book was so relevant for me in my life right now and I really gained some great perspective and clarity on my life after reading it.

I loved all the great examples and ideas that were delivered. Just about all the advice and guidance was practical for me. I am even considering adding meditation to my morning routine because of the ideas Matt gave to me from reading the book.

For far to long I was afraid to let go of the past and after reading this I am committed to letting go and start living in the NOW. Matt has inspired me to appreciate the little things in my day to day life and stop worrying about things that you can't control.

Excerpt: A person’s identity is created by past moments, present experiences, as well as dreams for the future. The past plays a significant role in how a person chooses to live life because it has contributed to the formation of who a person has become. It is the catalyst to which beliefs are formed to design your future.

More often than not, it’s difficult to let go of a traumatic past and it is a constant challenge to stop feeling anxious about the future. Perpetual happiness in life is closely tied to your ability to let go of your past and understand that those past events are over. Therefore, if traumatic past experiences are dwelled on for too long it can lead to depressing thoughts, including what you could have or should have done to the point where you feel stuck. The reality is that those are things you cannot change because that time has passed.

People have a very hard time releasing things because they think they’ll crumble once these things are gone. This is why it’s important to know that how you see yourself affects your decision on what to let go of. The thoughts you choose to keep in the cloud of thoughts bouncing in your mind will either negatively or positively influence your current state.

Past, Present or Future - which one is important for you? Review by Lexi Dreu This book contains tips on how to wash away all the bad memories in our past and how to transform our fears for the future into feelings of gratitude and excitement. ~ Lexi Dreu

After taking a look at providing for basic needs, she walks the reader through the process of selecting a new, smaller, place to live and making it their own. Excerpt: Invisible Wars

We are surrounded by “invisible wars” being battled in a loud but deafening silence. Examples are the class war, the race war, the cultural war and the ‘size war’! Big is beautiful and small is bijoux. It’s all down to what you can afford and what suits your lifestyle best.

The demonstration of ones’ wealth, the size of your car, handbag, ring, garden, hair, watch and so on are seen to be irrevocably representative of what we have achieved in life. We have gone into the “uberous” era of big kitchens, big garages, big bathrooms, big rooms, big handbags, big watches and rings, big boobs and big expectations.

No one boasts about the “smallest” of any of these things. The baby boomers are losing their eyesight in the millions so they cannot see “small”. The younger generation is addicted to new technology. Advertising is now so sophisticated, we hardly even notice how brain washed we have all become while this “invisible war” is being waged upon us. It’s difficult, but we have to stay objective, a bit removed, and then just play grateful.

Folks these days, who are keeping big homes are being sucked dry by large, unforgiving money eating properties. Whilst living on a diminishing income, eating discounted foods; never going out unless it’s free; drinking the cheapest wines; not servicing the car; cancelling any and every insurance policy; living in the dark; wearing clothes bought for a younger thinner person and pretending they weren’t on the bus.

The roof leaks, the carpet is fraying, fridge handles are gone, taps drip, crakes creep up walls, mould is growing, rust is spreading and the ants are now inside. Yet they keep praying the house will increase in value; praying that there will be something for the kids to inherit; praying they never have to take in lodgers and praying they can keep up the service charges.

Eventually, the constant repairs are completely unaffordable, the service charges only increase, they stop inviting guests over, being cold is now normal, and they look out at their overgrown garden while sitting in semi darkness praying that they don’t get an unexpected large bill because this is all about cash flow and too much of the cash is flowing out.

It’s a battle for survival and it’s giving the middle classes a reason to drink too much. They don’t know it, but they are bunkering down and their house is becoming a prison. People need their house to increase in value annually, because that's what they are protecting and fighting for. But why?
So the kids can sell, fight over, squander, waste, brag about, show off, tell stories about a place they never paid for?

You won't win this “invisible war”, but you can get off the battle field. “Downsizing” is going to be about becoming liquid, fluid, adapting, free, solvent, minimal, safer, invisible, humble, discreet, practical, unassuming, and even perhaps avoiding losing the lot in a foreclosure or a divorce. It shouldn’t be a battle. It might even be fun.

How it used to be

Many cultures all over the world are traditionally living in smallish spaces without collapsing into social chaos, popping Prozac, or shooting each other. The need for a triple garage, 4 bedrooms en suite, TV den and BBQ pit is a relatively new phenomena imported from the USA that the middle classes worldwide now seem to expect.

Historically in Europe, you had to be upper class, landed gentry or massively wealthy to even conceive of living in a spacious accommodation and the luxury that it offered. Only that group could afford to have and maintain large rooms and multiple living quarters. Without servants, it meant no fire, cut wood, cleaners, gardeners, cooks, childcare and so on for survival.

Poor people huddle, share, cooperate and help each other. It’s pure survival tactics. We however learnt how to buy, borrow and leverage over the last 25 years. We are building “castles” to show our success but we have lost the “servants”. We are the “new servants” and we now try to do everything to sustain these “castles” alone. It cannot be done!

We are so tied into the concept of “your home is your castle”. It seems madness at best, or socially embarrassing to admit to a downsize move. In the USA it’s a reason for suicide. In France ‘c’est practique’

But conditions are changing fast in this economy. So adapt voluntarily before you are made to by some exterior, overwhelming, unstoppable force. If there is regret, remorse or hesitation and it’s mostly unfounded, shake it off. Otherwise, it will haunt you. You will wince, groan, whine and bitch every minute of every day during this move and life will be hell.

Now that you have that out of your system, you can downsize with some style, a healthy attitude, a sense of fun, adventure, freedom, exploration and appreciation. It will take some organising, mental strength and physical effort, but it is possible. But first, we need to lighten your load.

Be Honest with Yourself

Our lives are very well dictated by our cash flow. If the reason for moving is that cash flow is short and not supporting your current life style, put this into the equation now or you will be downsizing again soon. It’s better to take 3 steps down in one go, rather than 3 separate steps downwards consecutively as every move costs money.

Ask yourself if you are living in your home or your home living in you? Who is working for whom? Has your home become “the reason?” The reason to go to work, the reason to earn money, to sacrifice, to stay married, to maintain, to plan, to stay on good terms, to sue, to have sex etc.

We have become slaves to our homes. The higher the cost of the home, in relation to income, the longer the servitude you will serve. Talking about the “increased equity value of your home” has become an addiction because a lot of property has increased much faster than our earning capacity.

This imbalance is cementing the relationship for longer and deeper debts. Ones working life time is not long enough to pay it off. Interest rates keep hitting all-time lows and it’s sucking us further into more leverage. This is not a natural state of events, and banks and governments are complicit.

The only true freedom is being free of debt. Free of credit. To be self-governing and self-determining. Take back the control of your life. We have had a good run so let’s pick up our ‘cards off the table’ and cash out while we can.

Discover Minimalism

minimalism_cover

UK USA CDN AU

I LOVED reading this book. It gave great definitions of minimalism and descriptions of how a more simple life could benefit those who embrace it. A brief history of minimalism included quotes about living more simply from people throughout the centuries. I couldn't stop writing them down! For instance, in 1876, Francis Jourdain said, "One can furnish a room very luxuriously by taking out furniture rather than putting it in." This book had a clear, conversational style and offered practical solutions to our modern day challenge of clutter. I felt inspired to do more with less and already have targeted a pile of books in the basement for a "Clutter Out Box." I recommend this book to everyone! ~ Review by Donna Sue Evans

Are you tired of stress collecting in your life? Are you frustrated with how the business of life can crowd out your time to pursue your passions? Do you have boxes of things stored away that you haven’t used in months, or even years? Are you tired of the clutter?

If you have found yourself wondering how to increase happiness in your life, or if you answered “yes” to any of the questions above, then Minimalism may be your answer. Join people all over the world who are finding joy and freedom in having “less.” Less clutter, less stress, and less distraction.

This book is about Minimalism (sometimes referred to as "Simple Living") – it gives an overview of the different aspects of the minimalist lifestyle and explains why many people are choosing to live this way during the modern consumerist age. It overviews benefits, refutes misconceptions, and clarifies what is meant by a "minimalist" lifestyle today. So go ahead...Learn how to find happiness in an unexpected direction: Minimalism!

Today’s society is chock-full of consumerism and the endless desire to have more “things.” However, a growing movement of people is discovering something that we may already know in our hearts: that true happiness in life doesn’t come from the clutter in our lives, and it doesn’t come from the next purchase. It comes from focusing our lives on what’s most important to us: and cutting the rest out.
With this book, you will discover:

  • What Minimalist Living is and why so many people are embracing today.
  • The truth about many of the misconceptions about modern minimalism.
  • Minimalist spending habits and how to reduce emotional spending.
  • Minimalist thoughts from historic philosophers.
  • How to declutter your room, your home, and your life in general.
  • A clear focus on the things that are truly important to you.
  • The stress relief that comes from throwing the clutter out of your life.
  • How to fit a minimalist lifestyle to your needs, even with a family.
  • How being a minimalist can help YOU be happier, more focused, clearer-minded, more free, and more fulfilled!
  • And much more!

So if you want or are considering change in your life, then Minimalism is something you need to be aware of. Read this book and discover how minimalism is helping thousands upon thousand of people find focus, clarity, happiness, and purpose in their lives...and how it may be able to help you!

Guest article by Joel Phillips

The Bridge: 14 Days to a Limitless Life

We are all born the same so how do we end up so differently? Sure, there may be some environmental variables, but poor people become wealthy and rich people become poor all the time. Most of the time, life impacts us by default and our circumstances change, but underneath we all start out the same and have the same capabilities and potential. If it isn’t environmental then it must be something inside of us that drives us in a particular direction.

It would be pretty dull if we were all the same, but that isn’t really the issue. The focal point of our conversation is why are we different and what makes the grass always seem a little greener on the other side of the fence. The Bridge: 14 Days to a Limitless Life is a journey and an exploration to help us understand why all of those tries to change ourselves into something else don’t work, but more importantly, it gives us the tools to make substantial and lasting change in our lives.

We learn that the grass isn’t really greener on the other side of the fence. By living our lives in default mode, we have actually allowed the grass to get browner on our side of the fence. Further, we learn about out thought process and why we have ‘chemistry’ with some people while we don’t with others. What would happen if you learned how to create more chemistry between yourself and other people you meet. This book explores the ever so important first impression and how you can influence the outcome.

Want to learn to reprogram yourself to deal with Anxiety, Love, Sex, Relationships, Diet, Health, Confidence, Self-Esteem, Money, Motivation, Success and any other area of your life that you want to change or improve? The Bridge shows you how. How to build self-confidence, self-esteem and how to effect lasting change in your life by being more yourself than anyone else.

Got me on the right path! ~ Review by Ashley Minor

Feeling depressed about our day to day lives isn't uncommon in this day and age. We get up, we go to work, were at a job all day that we don't care about, but we feel stuck because we have bills to pay. It feels like never ending drudgery and I had no idea what to do about it. I knew I wanted to do something else.

I knew the path I was on wasn't working for me. Having enough money to buy more things wasn't all I need from this life and this book helped me to realize that. more money wasn't equaling more happiness.

This book taught me how to reach deep down inside and how to follow the path so that I could realize my full potential. After reading this book I returned to school and began to truly follow my passions. I'll be graduating next year and can't wait to see what my future holds. Even just beginning the journey, I'm already feeling so much happier!

Book Blurb:

A cool and swanky book that will help you decide if the man you're looking for is Mr Right, or just Mr Tonight, and much, much more.

Excerpt from the Introduction - (Kindle Locations 35-51).

When I first arrived in New York, I was an aspiring actress, but like many artistic types, I had to get a job to pay the bills. While waiting for my big break, I used my charisma to ace a job interview, which landed me a job at a Wall Street brokerage firm. Though I didn’t expect it at the time, it was a perfect beginner’s course in how to interact with members of the opposite sex.

Working at the firm was definitely not my dream job, and I found myself getting bored. But then I noticed that my male counterparts at the office would flirt with me a lot. Rather than getting annoyed about it , I used it to my advantage. I discovered I could use my charm to get them to do tasks around the office for me . That’s where I first invented a lot of the seduction techniques I describe in this book. I found I enjoyed getting men to do what I wanted.

But eventually, working at “Groundhog Day Brokerage Firm” lost its luster. Being in a cubicle all day felt like a prison to me. So I gave my two weeks’ notice and quit. I had gotten everything I had possibly wanted out of the situation . It was time to do something different.

I re -evaluated everything. What did I really want to do? I wasn’t exactly sure, but it wasn’t going to be sitting behind a desk all day. I knew what it was that I didn’t want. Now I needed to figure out what I did want.

One night, some friends and I wandered into a strip club. We had had a few drinks, and I went with the promise of more drinks and fun. When I woke up the next morning, I hazily remembered that I had been offered a waitress position. Wow! I could serve men overpriced drinks, and convince them to leave me massive tips. At least it would be more interesting than my last job.

This was one of my first positions in the service industry, and I quickly learned that the flirting and seduction tools that I had started to develop at the brokerage firm worked at the club just as well. I quickly learned to pick up on hints that a person gives you about how they want to be treated.

Aim For The Starz

Bruce Budden ‘s Aim for the Starz is packed full of useful information to transform your life. His perspective is totally spot-on – the only thing holding you back is YOU!

So many people put up barriers in their lives that limit their potential. The barriers described were very thought-provoking as I saw bits and pieces of myself in several of them. This book has taught me to take a hard look at the way I perceive my life. It outlines areas where I can start making changes now. I especially enjoyed Chapter Four on “designing my life”. It provided concrete steps that will lead me down the path to making the most of life.

Today, the world is full of people who don’t want to take responsibility for their own lives. And, I must admit that I have travelled that way a few times myself. I am glad Aim for the Starz gave me a new way to look at things. ~ Review by Ricquelle Landis

Guest article by Bruce Budden

Aim for the Starz is a guide toward optimism, toward the journey of making positive changes in life. This book is written in a linear narrative style from a third person point of view. It comprises four parts. First part discusses about the things that holds a person back from moving forward. The first part talks about the limitations, barriers, fears, and excuses that we use for our immovability.

Most of our pessimism and inertia is the ultimate results of these factors. It also points out our human trait of blaming others as our enemy which is really appreciable to me. In the second part, the author talks about what a person needs to live fully. The author talks about the notion of our perception, positivity, potential, mind and subconscious and their influence on us.

The author notices that by expanding our mind we can broaden our horizon of success and shows us the example of Nelson Mandela. In the third part, the author discusses about following one’s dream and aiming for the starz.

Here, the author implies that beliefs, open-mindedness, perseverance, doing what one loves, being imaginative, big thinking, being free, having fun, smiling, taking positive risks, being grateful and generous, and taking action – all of these are tools to use to aim for the starz. Lastly, in the fourth part, author talks about designing one’s life through different strategies and by setting goals.

This book is like a magical wand to guide one in the darkness of despair and frustration and has every capability to motivate one towards the light of success and optimism in one’s life. Lastly, to top it off the author emphasizes that, “every single one of us is the sole creator of our own destiny.” This quote pretty much comprises the main theme of the whole book by positing the vibe of optimism and perseverance to venture for our dream.

Also, I'm working on loving myself more. ~ Review by Alex C.

18 Simple Steps for Efficient Time Management

UK   USA CDN  AU

I am someone who needs some help with time management. This book has wonderful steps to follow. I have managed to implement some of them and it definitely relieves my anxiety. Crossing off my tasks on my to-do list is such a great feeling! Take a look at the samples from the chapters below. Very helpful I must say Smile

Book Description:

This book gives 18 simple steps that will help the readers to implement them in their day to day life. With proper practice of these steps, they will be in a better position to achieve and accomplish many things both in their professional life as well as personal life. All these 18 simple steps are well within their reach to enhance the overall quality of their life.

Excerpt – Samples from these chapters:

Step 1- Write Down Specific Tasks for Each Day and Prioritize Them
  • Plan tomorrow’s tasks today. That means, at the end of each day, decide and write down actions that you plan to do the next day. This should be your comprehensive to-do list of specific tasks for the next day.
  • You’ll also want to gather any needed materials a day in advance, so that you can begin your work without any unnecessary delays.
  • Once you identify your daily tasks, prioritize them according to their importance. For this, divide your tasks into three categories: “Type A,” “Type B,” and “Type C.” You can categorize “Type A” as tasks that are important and urgent, “Type B” as tasks that are important or urgent, and “Task C” as tasks that are neither important nor urgent.
  • Start with “Type A” tasks first. Complete each task one by one according to priority. After completing “Type A,” start working on “Type B,” and after completing them, move on to “Type C” tasks. Cross out items as you complete each task. Crossing off items on your to-do list will be proof of all you’ve accomplished, and being able to cross off some major items will quickly become a reward in and of itself.
  • Allocate time slots for each task and aim for results within the allocated time. By allocating specific amount of time to each activity, you will be able to do more work done within the specified time. Timeslots help you stay focused on your task.
  • Concentrate completely on one task at a time before moving on to the next task.
Tip: Use colored markers to denote tasks of varying importance.

Step 5 - Create Chunks of Time
  • Make it a point to create blocks of time when you won’t be interrupted, so that you can collect your thoughts and focus on your work. In particular, these chunks of time are useful for concentrating on your high priority tasks.
  • Avoid all types of interruptions and disruptions during these blocks of time. Have any potential distractions such as the television or computer put away when focusing on your work.
  • You can create these chunks of time by going early to the office, leaving late, or by working from home.

Wow! This man went through so much. It is often difficult to read about someone who had it so rough and think "Wow, I complain about what I have or don't have?!" Watching the author go through so many struggles in order to achieve high levels of success are highly inspiring. It is definitely a "Well if he can do it through all that, then I can to" kind of read. You will leave the book feeling motivated to succeed having watched some one else break through many hardships in order to get where they needed to go. Great read!

Book Description:

From Living On The Streets of Medellin, Colombia To Becoming A Successful Entrepreneur in New York

Today, nearing forty, Eder is a successful New York entrepreneur in the online media industry and CEO of a digital marketing company. However, as a kid in the mid ’80s, he fled a frightening home life and wound up living for years on the streets of Medellin, Colombia. It was a dicey existence, in what was described during this era as the 'most dangerous place on earth'. where international drug lords like Pablo Escobar ruled, where you could be shot for looking at the wrong guy the wrong way.

Dreaming of Hope Street is the story of how he went from living in the streets to become a successful entrepreneur. The book is in the classic Coming-of-Age tradition, and proves that, though life can be ugly and brutal, even the most disadvantaged can overcome the odds and find happiness, their own Hope Street. The narrative steps along and rings with authenticity; it’s often sad, shocking, but ultimately uplifting and motivational.
