OK, so I've been getting into a lot of books regarding weight loss and eating right. However, I haven't found too many workout books that are for someone like me. I'm busy and hate the gym. The Shift offers a really great alternative to being a constant gym-goer.
I have found it much easier to commit to 10 minutes a day with the Shift's workout plan. I've started with the baseline routine and already feel like I'm making progress!
I really appreciate the info provided on the concepts - it helps everything make sense. And the info is laid out for me in an organized, easy to understand way. I think this book, coupled with eating right is going to make a huge difference in my life for the new year!

I never realized that was my pattern until I read Food Addicts, and recognized that I had been putting all my shame onto myself, and blaming eating and food. It was all so mixed up in my psyche, I had to start unravelling the threads. This is a great read, whether you have suffered hardships or are blessed to be without. It's entertaining and funny, yet it pulls at the heart strings. It puts life into perspective and makes me appreciate everything I have. I love this book and couldn't put it down!

After being in the legal field for over ten years Milla also decided to change careers: she was a very successful lawyer with a Master’s degree from the best law school in Brazil. She went through a marriage and a divorce in the period of 13 months and had numerous heartbreaks.

Reading about it, you might think that it’s a very sad plot, but on the contrary, it’s a demonstration of faith, determination, resilience, love and victory.

Those who decide to read Milla’s book will know that she learned how to face the world and fight her demons.

You will be surprised with life and with the end.

In my opinion, Dilia Suriel has it right. We do have to rewire the brain. Our brain is our operational system after all. I've watched documentaries about how the brains of people are triggered if they are alcoholics. It would be the same for food addicts as well. In my opinion.
